Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant was targeted seven times against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, Oct. 21, catching five of them for 39 yards.
Huddle Up: While seven targets is a respectable number, Fant is used primarily on short routes and has now averaged less than nine yards per reception in five of his seven games this season. That's a pretty steep decline for Fant, who averaged 14.1 yards per reception as a rookie and 10.9 last year. He carries more appeal in point-per-reception leagues, but even there Fant is a low-end No. 1 option.

Huddle Up: Fant is coming off his best game of the season with a season-high 97 yards. He has posted three touchdowns on the season and has been targeted 25 times over the last three games. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end if he is active this week.

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant caught nine passes for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 17. He was targeted 11 times.
Huddle Up: Fant's 97 receiving yards were his most since Dec. 8, 2018, and he also already matched a career high with his third receiving touchdown of the season. As a reliable underneath target, Fant is a nice match for Bridgewater's risk-averse style. While not an elite option, Fant should be a solid TE1 at this stage.

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant caught three of his four targets for 20 yards in a 27-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.
Huddle Up: Fant has been held to less than 50 yards in four straight games, and despite having the athleticism to make plays down the field, he has been limited to short catches underneath. If his current role continues, Fant is no more than a touchdown-dependent streaming option.

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant caught six of his 10 targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: Fant bounced back from his worst fantasy effort of the season with his best one. Like the rest of his teammates, he did most of his damage in the first half before Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) was knocked out of the game. Most fantasy managers probably don't have a better option on the bench, but expectations for Fant need to be lowered to a low-end TE1 level at best if Drew Lock is forced to start versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant posted four grabs for 33 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Huddle Up: Fant has racked up 10 receptions for 95 yards and a score on 10 targets. Those are OK numbers, making him a borderline low-end TE1 or must-start TE2 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. The Broncos host the New York Jets in Week 3.
