New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) passed his physical and will avoid the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, according to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com.
Huddle Up: Good news for the Giants, although it is far too early to express any degree of confidence in Jones returning to the same form that made him a decent fantasy starter in 2022. The Giants did their part to bring in some help for him this offseason, beefing up the offensive line and drafting Malik Nabers. However, Jones' fantasy value has long been attached to his ability to run, so he will need to be well ahead of the usual timeline in terms of trusting his knee following ACL surgery.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) is not expected to be placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list when training camp begins.
Huddle Up: Jones appears to be on track for the start of the season but could be limited during training camp because of his rehab. He can be a low-end No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues and likely will not be a starting option most weeks.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) said he has had no real setbacks in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: Jones will be a QB2 and may go undrafted a lot. He's not going to be a real good option early on as he'll need time to kick off rust from the ACL tear. He's the type that may be one of your first cuts to try to grab that breakout RB/WR. As we introduce bye weeks, and he has time to get his feet under him, he could be a worthy waiver claim/matchup play.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones is working out with several of the team's wide receivers this week.
Huddle Up: Jones is on track to be ready for Week 1 and should be the starting quarterback for another season. He likely will only be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues this season.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) did not participate in team drills during practice Tuesday, June 11, but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Jones likely will be the starting quarterback for the Giants this offseason as long as he is healthy but will only be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones said he expects to be the starting quarterback for the Giants this upcoming season.
Huddle Up: The Giants did not add a big-name quarterback this offseason, so Jones is the leading candidate for the job entering training camp. He has not posted great numbers over the last few seasons and should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) expects to be ready for Week 1, he told reporters Thursday, May 23.
Huddle Up: Jones is working his way back from ACL reconstruction surgery. He's a QB2 with limited upside but if he proves to be healthy and running, he has streamer potential.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) participated in seven-on-seven drills during practice Monday, May 20.
Huddle Up: Jones is making progress in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and the team hopes he will be ready for the start of training camp. He should be the starting quarterback for the Giants this season if healthy but should only be considered a No. 2 fantasy QB.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) told reporters on Wednesday, May 1, that he is "in a good spot" with his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will be ready for training camp this summer.
Huddle Up: Jones' career in New York has been more down than up, but New York might be giving him his best chance to succeed since becoming a pro after drafting Malik Nabers last week. It could easily be argued that Sterling Shepherd and Evan Engram were previously the two best pass-catchers he has had in five years with the club. As such, the 2024 season may be the first time in his NFL career that the Giants will be able to answer the question of whether Jones is their long-term answer at quarterback.
