Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins completed 23 of his 29 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.
Huddle Up: It has been an interesting season for Cousins in terms of production. He now has a pair of four-touchdown games, but he has six touchdowns passes in the other six games combined, throwing one touchdown or less in five of those contests. Despite a couple big games, Cousins is best used as a QB2.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins completed 24-of-35 passes for 232 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, and he ran once for minus-1 yard.
Huddle Up: Cousins had that giant Week 5 showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 509 yards and four touchdowns, but he has one or no TD passes in five of his other six games, and he has 241 or fewer passing yards in six of seven games. Outside of that amazing TNF performance, he has mostly been a QB2 from a fantasy perspective. Good news, as the Falcons travel to meet the aforementioned Bucs in Week 8.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins completed 19-of-30 passes for 225 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, as the team leaned upon the run game for 198 yards.
Huddle Up: Cousins did what he needed to do, helping his real team to yet another win, although he didn't do much for fantasy managers. He should have more passing yardage and scores against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7, a team which has been susceptible to the big pass play.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins connected on 42 of his 58 passes for a franchise-record 509 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interception during an overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, Oct. 3. Cousins was sacked four times.
Huddle Up: Uneven for most of the first four games, Cousins morphed into Kirko Chainz on Thursday night, lighting up an injury-depleted Buccaneers secondary for 509 yards, which included a game-tying drive in the final seconds and a game-winning drive on the first possession of overtime. Obviously, this was a once-in-a-lifetime type performance from Cousins, but just go back to his days in Minnesota to remind yourself that he'll have weeks where he tops 300 yards with multiple TDs. He remains a nice QB2 for fantasy owners, though anyone that had him active tonight most definitely LIKED THAT!

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins completed 21-of-35 passes for 238 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints, and he did not have any rushing attempts.
Huddle Up: It was the first game this season for Cousins without a touchdown pass. He has just four TD and four INT through four games, and his yardage total high is 241 yards. His fantasy numbers have been that of a QB2 in all formats. He'll look for better results on a short week Thursday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins has completed 11 of his 22 passes when under pressure this season, and his passer rating drops from 116.1 to 43.1 with three interceptions.
Huddle Up: He is working his way back from an Achilles injury, and decreased mobility in the pocket could certainly be a side effect. Cousins may improve as the season goes on, but for now, he should be viewed as a QB2.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins completed 20 of his 29 attempted passes for 230 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception in a five-point loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 22. Cousins was also sacked twice and fumbled twice, though the Falcons were able to retain possession both times.
Huddle Up: Cousins had his moments, but he was unable to drive the Falcons for the winning score in the fourth quarter. Minus his great drive at the end of the game against the Eagles in Week 2, the veteran hasn't looked all that crisp. It's too early to throw in the towel, but Cousins, who was a playable QB1 with the Vikings last year, continues looking more suited to a backup role in 2024 where fantasy owners can deploy him in plus matchups. Facing a tough Saints squad in Week 4 looks like a good time to keep him on the bench.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins ended up completing 20-of-29 passes for 241 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Sept. 16, including a game-winning touchdown drive in the two-minute offense.
Huddle Up: Cousins was having another mediocre night, but the Eagles were unable to run out the clock, giving Atlanta the chance. The veteran led the team down the field for a comeback that probably never should have happened. It just might be the springboard to help Cousins and the Atlanta pass offense build chemistry and momentum going forward. We'll see the Falcons again in primetime in Week 3 on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Cousins is still more of a QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, but he could be on the rise.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins went 16-for-26 for 155 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1.

Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins will be "ready to go" for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, he said on Friday, Aug. 10.
Huddle Up: Cousins has been going full speed all training camp, so this was expected. The veteran signal-caller should be viewed as a QB2 ahead of his first game with the Falcons, but he could cross over into QB1 territory at some point.
