New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) has been ruled out for the Week 7 game, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
Huddle Up: Olave will receive some extra time to recover from his injury, so fantasy players should check on his status next week. Bub Means should receive a bigger role in the passing game this week and could be a flex option in some deeper leagues.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) did not practice Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Huddle Up: Olave is not expected to play given how difficult it is to turn around on a short week from a concussion. Managers will need to find a pivot option like Bub Means if necessary.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 14. The Saints did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Olave probably is facing an uphill battle since he only has a few days to pass his concussion tests. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation because Olave is a starting option in fantasy leagues when active.

Updating previous reports, New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) has been diagnosed with a concussion and will not return to the Week 6 game.
Huddle Up: Olave will need to pass his concussion tests before he can play again, so his status for Week 7 is uncertain at this point. Rashid Shaheed will be the main receiver for the Saints with Olave sidelined and can be at least a flex option in most leagues.

Updating a previous report, New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (head) is being evaluated for a concussion after he left the Week 6 game early.
Huddle Up: Olave will not return if he is diagnosed with a concussion and probably will be questionable for Week 7 if that happens. Fantasy players will need to check on his practice participation next week to see if he will be available for Week 7.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (undisclosed) left the Week 6 game early because of an undisclosed injury.
Huddle Up: Olave was hit hard during the game, so fantasy players should receive an update on Olave in the near future. He is a weekly starting option when healthy but may miss some time depending on the injury.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave managed two receptions for just 10 yards on four targets in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Olave has three games with 81 or more receiving yards, but he also has two games with two catches and 11 or fewer yards. Talk about boom or bust for fantasy managers. Now, Olave heads into Week 6 with uncertainty at quarterback, as Derek Carr left late in the game with an oblique injury. If backup Jake Haener were to start, the New Orleans pass attack would likely take a big hit, which isn't good for Olave's fantasy outlook.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) avoided an injury designation after fully practicing Saturday, Oct. 5.
Huddle Up: There was never a doubt about his available with full participation all week. Olave draws a stiff matchup this week, but he's simply too talented avoid in traditional fantasy formats.
