New Orleans Saints WRs Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Chris Olave (head) "look completely recovered" from their season-ending injuries last season, according to Matthew Paras of The Times-Picayune.
Huddle Up: Shaheed should be completely recovered from the meniscus surgery that took place in mid-October. Olave is a different story since he suffered his fifth documented concussion in early November. There is simply too much upside to ignore either wideout in fantasy, but both are risky on multiple levels. Quarterback play is one concern. Regarding Shaheed specifically, meniscus issues tend to remain a nuisance even after they are fixed via surgery. Regarding Olave specifically, one has to wonder how many more concussions he can suffer before he has to retire.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave appears unlikely to be traded this offseason, but the Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly have made their interest known to the Saints in recent days, according to a source. Per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com, the Saints do not seem interested in trading Olave.
Huddle Up: Farabaugh suggests it will likely take a second-round pick to acquire Olave, who is under team control for at least two more years after the Saints exercised his fifth-year option this offseason. New head coach Kellen Moore told reporters in March that Olave should have a significant role in his offense, which makes the likelihood that the receiver goes anywhere slim since New Orleans does not want to rebuild at this time.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave's fifth-year option has been exercised, according to general manager Mickey Loomis.
Huddle Up: Olave struggled with concussions this past season but is a reliable fantasy option when healthy. He should be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues in 2025.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave has had "a huge impact" on the team and will have a huge impact (in 2025)," according to head coach Kellen Moore on Tuesday, April 1.
Huddle Up: It didn't take Moore very long to identify that Olave should be highly involved, but the questions regarding Olave have more to do with his ability to stay on the field. The 24-year-old logged only eight games in 2024 and has a concerning concussion history, so Moore will have to keep that at the forefront of his mind for as long as the two are tied at the hip. When healthy, Olave is a solid fantasy WR2 with WR1 upside.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (head) was ruled out for Week 18 on Saturday, Jan 4. Olave was previously listed as questionable.
Huddle Up: It would've made no sense for the Saints to run Olave out there with nothing to play for. No Saints are worth starting in Week 18 with Spencer Rattler under center.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 3, but is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Olave is currently on the Reserve/Injured list, so fantasy players will have to see if he will be activated prior to the game. He likely will only see a few targets if he plays and will be a risky fantasy option.
