Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 22 of his 34 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown in a 23-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Stroud and company picked up the win, but he continues to post underwhelming fantasy numbers. After a stellar rookie season, Stroud has settled into the QB2 range this year.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud went 20-for-33 for 247 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. He also rushed for 18 yards on three carries against the game.
Huddle Up: Stroud threw at least two touchdowns for the first time in six games and does have five interceptions in the last three games. He will be facing the Jacksonville Jaguars next week and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 23-of-34 passes for 257 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, while running three times for 26 yards.
Huddle Up: Stroud's most effective move was handing the ball to Joe Mixon, as the running back posted three rushing scores. Stroud has definitely taken a step back after a tremendous rookie campaign. He has just two touchdown passes across his past five games, and he has thrown for under 300 yards in six straight outings. He has looked more like a QB2 lately in most fantasy leagues. Next up is a home date with the Tennessee Titans.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (hand) practiced in full for the third straight day on Saturday, Nov. 16, and was removed from the Week 11 injury report.
Huddle Up: Stroud is in the midst of a disappointing sophomore campaign, mostly because his offensive line can't protect him. Ranked as QB23 overall in fantasy points per game entering Week 11, Stroud is a shaky QB2, at best.

Houston Texans DE Will Anderson Jr. (ankle), DL Folorunso Fatukasi (foot) and OT Blake Fisher (concussion) did not practice on Saturday, Nov. 16, and were ruled out for Week 11. Also, CB Kamari Lassiter (concussion) was limited and is questionable, CB Jeff Okudah (quadriceps) practiced in full but is questionable and CB Derek Stingley Jr. (hip), LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), WR Nico Collins (hamstring), LB Jake Hansen (ankle), RB Dameon Pierce (groin), OT Laremy Tunsil (knee), QB C.J. Stroud (hand) and DE Dylan Horton (shoulder) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Huddle Up: Stroud has been on a cold streak recently with only two passing touchdowns in the last four games. There is a good chance that he will be throwing to Nico Collins this week, which will help his fantasy value. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most leagues.

Ranked as QB23 overall in fantasy points per game, Stroud is barely on the QB2 radar entering Week 11, although he could see a boost with the return of Nico Collins.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 19-of-33 passes for 232 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions and he rushed once for five yards and he was sacked four times.
Huddle Up: Stroud has been under pressure due to some shaky line play, and he has just not been hitting on all cylinders like in his rookie. He hasn't been terrible, but he is more of a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 11 at Dallas next Monday night.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 11 of his 30 pass attempts for 191 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions against the New York Jets on Thursday, Oct. 31. Stroud, who ran eight times for 59 yards, was sacked a career-high eight times and lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: With Stefon Diggs (knee) and Nico Collins (hamstring) both out, Houston's passing game looked severely compromised. The offensive line also struggled to protect Stroud, who was sacked a career-high eight times. It's the second tough showing from Stroud in the past three games (he had just 86 yards passing versus Green Bay in Week 7), and the second-year pro has not really delivered on expectations thus far in 2024, at least statistically. The good news is that Collins is expected back in Week 10, which reunites Stroud with his deep threat. We'll see if that reignites the passing game.
