New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught 10 passes (on 13 targets) for 89 yards in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: Thomas has opened 2019 with back-to-back 10-reception outings, and his value should remain high no matter who is under center for the Saints.

New York Giants TE Evan Engram caught six passes for 48 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. He was targeted eight times during the game.
Huddle Up: Engram has been targeted 22 times over the first two games and should continues to be one of the main options in the passing game. He can be considered a No. 1 tight end next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

New York Giants WR Bennie Fowler caught five passes for 51 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Huddle Up: Fowler was in the starting lineup this week because of Sterling Shepard's injury and could remain a starting with Cody Latimer's injury. He should see some targets next week but should be a fantasy option in leagues.

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. He also caught three passes for 28 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Barkley continues to be one of the most reliable fantasy options even though his team is struggling. He is a must-start option every week no matter the opponent.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 26-for-45 for 250 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.
Huddle Up: Manning was without his top three receivers and struggled with interceptions this week. There is a good chance that Manning will lose his starting job at some point this season and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

New York Giants WR Cody Latimer (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Week 2 game and has been ruled out.
Huddle Up: Latimer will need to go through the concussion protocol before he is able to play again. Fantasy players probably should avoid all Giants receivers until Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate return.

New York Giants WR Cody Latimer (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 13, and is listed as questionable for Week 2.
Huddle Up: Latimer could serve as the Giants' No. 1 receiver if he plays with Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate not available. He has a chance to be a flex option in deeper leagues, but fantasy players in most leagues should be able to find better options for their starting lineup.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) on Friday, Sept. 14, was ruled out of the team's Week 2 game vs. the Buffalo Bills as he recovers from a concussion sustained in the season opener.
Huddle Up: The run of bad news has extended into the season for the Giants' WR corps, and hopefully Shepard owners already had a backup plan in place. Cody Latimer, Bennie Fowler and Russell Shepard now top the N.Y. WR depth chart with Golden Tate serving a suspension, but also should mean TE Evan Engram maintains a strong share of the team's targets.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) was out of practice working on the side Thursday, Sept. 12, for the second straight day.
Huddle Up: Shepard is working through the concussion protocol and fantasy GMs will likely need to monitor his progress through Saturday to see if he's taken enough strides to play in Week 2.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) is working to the side Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Huddle Up: Shepard had six grabs for 42 yards in Week 1, and he can run as a solid WR3 against the Buffalo Bills if healthy.

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas posted 10 receptions for 123 yards on 13 targets in Week 1 against the Houston Texans on Monday, Sept. 9.
Huddle Up: Thomas showed well under the lights, jelling nicely with 40-year-old Drew Brees, who had a pair of 100-yard receivers (also Ted Ginn Jr.). The former Ohio State standout has emerged as one of the top receivers in the game and he is a legit WR1 in every format. The Saints will travel to meet the Rams in Week 2 in a revenge game.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) has been diagnosed with a concussion and is going through the concussion protocol.
Huddle Up: Shepard will need medical clearance in order to play in Week 2, so fantasy players should monitor the situation during the week. He had a decent role in the passing game in Week 1 and could be a No. 3 receiver this week if he plays despite the tough matchup.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 30 of 44 passes for 306 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Next to the phrase "empty yards" in the dictionary is a picture of Manning completing a pass to Bennie Fowler down 25 points. His final line was decent, and he avoided the interception (he did lose a fumble), but it never felt that the Giants were in that game after they jumped out to a 7-0 start. With the expectation that Daniel Jones will take over once the G-Men slip from contention, even Manning's modest QB3 value may be short lived.

New York Giants TE Evan Engram caught 11 of his 14 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 35-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Engram led the team in catches, targets and yards, and he should be able to finish as a top-five fantasy option at his position if he can stay healthy.

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley rushed 11 times for 120 yards and caught four passes for 19 yards in a 35-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Barkley shredded the Cowboys with big runs, but the Giants quickly fell behind and had to abandon the run. As was the case last year, Barkley was able to flirt with RB1 numbers even when the team struggles.

Multiple New York Giants officials have said that QB Eli Manning will remain the starter as long as the team is in the playoff race.
Huddle Up: At this point of his career, Manning isn't worth owning in most traditional formats and should only be viewed as a viable fantasy option in two-quarterback leagues.

New York Giants TE Evan Engram is slated to play a massive role as the team's big-play receiver, and the team has been careful with him most of the summer.
Huddle Up: Engram had a promising rookie season in 2017, but injuries riddled him much of last season. With Odell Beckham Jr. gone and Eli Manning under center, Engram should be the featured receiver. Engram was taken as a midrange TE1, and if he stays healthy, he could be a top-three option at the position by season's end. He's a strong TE1 against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.

New York Giants WR Golden Tate was placed on the Reserve/Suspended list Saturday, Aug. 31.
Huddle Up: Tate will miss the first month of the season but should be the main option in the passing game when he returns. He has a chance to be a No. 3 fantasy receiver after the suspension.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones will back up QB Eli Manning to open the season, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur and co-owner John Mara said. Jones went 4-for-4 for 47 yards in the final preseason tilt Thursday, Aug. 29. He finished the preseason 29-for-34 for 416 yards and two touchdowns.
Huddle Up: Jones doesn't have QB2 value in traditional leagues yet, but Eli Manning figures to be on a short leash entering the season. In dynasty formats, though, Jones is a nice chip to have, and he could be a waiver claim early in the season.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning was confirmed the starting quarterback by head coach Pat Shurmur and co-owner John Mara Thursday, Aug. 29.
Huddle Up: Manning figures to be on a short leash after rookie Daniel Jones dazzled all preseason. Manning is really only worth owning in two-quarterback leagues and doesn't serve as a fruitful backup in traditional leagues.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (thumb) is 'good to go' for Week 1, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: New York's passing attack is going to limit his upside, but Shepard should still be a volume-based WR3.

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown in a 28-13 preseason win over the New York Jets Saturday, Aug. 24.
Huddle Up: Not that it should come as a surprise, but Thomas and Drew Brees were on the same page and connected on the early score. Thomas owns the record for most receptions through his first three seasons, and another year of WR1 production should be on tap.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones is 25-for-30 for 369 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in three preseason games.
Huddle Up: The only knock is that he has lost two fumbles. It's probably not enough to jettison Eli Manning out as the starter, but the clock is ticking. Jones is only worth owning in dynasty formats, but he could be an early season waiver claim.

New York Giants WR Golden Tate (concussion) did not practice Sunday, Aug. 18, after being diagnosed with a concussion.
Huddle Up: Tate is facing a suspension to start the year, but the shifty slot receiver will have WR3 upside in PPR formats when he returns. If the looming suspension causes him to slip in drafts, consider scooping him up.

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (thumb) said Sunday, Aug. 18, his thumb has healed pretty fast and he is 'feeling good.'
Huddle Up: Shepard's injury was a near disaster for the Giants' offense with WR Golden Tate suspended to begin the season. Shepard is in line for a huge target share and has top-end WR3 upside with the Giants' poor passing attack holding him back.

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones completed 11 of his 14 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown and lost a pair of fumbles in a 32-13 preseason win over the Chicago Bears Friday, Aug. 16.
Huddle Up: Jones will obviously have to clean up the ball security issues, but he was once again sharp throwing the ball. Eli Manning's presence limits his value to keeper formats for the time being, but Jones is showing some potential.

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley will not play in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 16, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Barkley will receive a significant amount of touches this season, so the team wants to keep him healthy. Barkley should be the first or second pick in all fantasy drafts this season.

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley will not play in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 8.
Huddle Up: Barkley may not receive a lot of playing time during the preseason because he will be the focal point on offense for the Giants this season. He should be one of the first players selected in fantasy drafts this season.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning worked with a private pitching coach this offseason at the suggestion of former MLB All-Star Al Leiter. 'I feel like it's paid off,' Manning said. 'I'm throwing the ball well, and arm is staying strong and I'm not losing anything. In training camp, sometimes you'd have four practices in a row, and you're not used to that; you can see your arm getting tired. But still feeling strong.'
Huddle Up: It's certainly not enough to bring Manning into the fantasy conversation entering the year, but he could become worthy of consideration as a late-season bye-week replacement if he plays above expectations deep into the campaign.
