Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon rushed 14 times for 57 yards and caught one of two targets for 14 yards Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Despite averaging a respectable 4.1 yards per carry behind a patchwork offensive line, Mixon did nothing of note in the passing game and failed to save face with a touchdown, giving gamers a lowly 8.1 PPR points on the day. He'll get a chance to offer another lump of coal on Christmas Day vs. a stout Baltimore defense.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 19, but is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Huddle Up: Mixon should receive most of the carries in the running game and could also see a few targets in the passing game. He has been a reliable option for fantasy players and should be a starting option in all leagues.

LB Del'Shawn Phillips (foot), OG Kenyon Green (shoulder), QB Davis Mills (illness) and OG Nick Broeker (hand) practiced in full on Thursday and have also been removed from the injury report.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Huddle Up: Mixon should be on track to play against the Kansas City Chiefs as long as he does not suffer a setback before the game. He did not have a lot of success last week but should see a good amount of touches this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (rest) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Texans conducted a walkthrough so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: It's a bit surprising to see Mixon not listed with an ankle injury, but that should signal that will be ready to go against a tough Kansas City Chiefs run defense. Monitor his status throughout the week, but Mixon is still a starting asset in all formats as long as he's active.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) is expected to be fine after playing through an ankle injury he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Miami Dolphins, head coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday, Dec. 16.
Huddle Up: Mixon didn't exit the game, but there was a scary moment when he was taken down from behind by a hip-drop tackle. Mixon missed three games earlier this season due to an ankle sprain he suffered from a hip-dorp tackle so this is something to at least keep an eye on.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins, but he returned to the game and finished with 12 carries for 23 yards and five catches for 33 yards.
Huddle Up: Mixon avoided a significant injury, but it remains to be seen if his ankle issue played a role in his underwhelming stat line. Keep an eye on his status heading into Week 16.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (non-injury) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 12.
Huddle Up: Mixon is coming off his sixth 100-yard game of the season last week and has rushed for at least one touchdown in eight of his 10 games this season. He will see plenty of touches this week and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon became the third player in NFL history with at least 100 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown in six road games in the same season, rushing 20 times for 101 yards and a score in a 23-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. He added four catches for 18 yards.
Huddle Up: Mixon continues to be a workhorse for the Texans, and he ranks in the top 10 in carries, rushing yards and touchdowns. He is a steady RB1 in all formats.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon rushed for 22 yards on 14 carries against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. He also caught five passes for 23 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Mixon was not able to find much success in the running game and only received short passes during the game. He should be able to post better numbers next week and should still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
