San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk recently received trade interest from the New England Patriots, but the Patriots were told he was not available at that time, according to a source.
Huddle Up: The Patriots do not have a No. 1 receiver on the roster, so Aiyuk would become the main option in the passing game if he joins New England. His value probably would take a small hit if the two sides agreed to a trade, but Aiyuk likely would still be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk has requested a trade, but the 49ers have been telling teams that are not interested in trading him, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see where Aiyuk will play this season and if he could possibly consider a holdout if he is not traded. He likely will be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues when he plays.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk reportedly requested a trade on Tuesday, July 16, after a series of unsuccessful attempts to reach a contract extension. Per reports, the team has been unwilling to engage in negotiations despite a recent meeting between the two sides.
Huddle Up: According to sources, the 49ers have made it clear to inquiring teams they have no intention of trading him. For his part, Aiyuk has reportedly been seeking the same kind of money A.J. Brown, Amon-Ra St. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle were able to get on their new extensions this offseason. A trade request does not mean Aiyuk will be traded, nor does it mean San Francisco cannot get an extension done over the next few weeks. All it means one of the game's most complete receivers will remain in limbo until San Francisco decides it is ready to do business.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk is not any closer to a contract extension with the 49ers despite meeting with the team last week, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Aiyuk has not asked for a trade request at this point.
Huddle Up: It looks like Aiyuk will be entering training camp without a new contract, so fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Aiyuk considers a hold out. He probably will remain with the 49ers this season and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: It seems like Aiyuk will play for the 49ers for at least one more season, but the two sides have time to reach a long-term agreement. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues as long as he does not decide to hold out.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk told Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels over FaceTime that the 49ers "don't want me back" in a video that surfaced Monday, June 17. Aiyuk is currently seeking a new deal with the 49ers.
Huddle Up: That statement could have several meanings. He could mean the 49ers don't want to sign him to an extension. Either way, his future in San Francisco has become even more cloudy. Managers will want to monitor the situation, but if he's on the field, he's a rock solid WR2.

Huddle Up: Aiyuk missed minicamp because of his contract situation, and it seems like the two sides are not close to an agreement at this time.
