Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) practiced in full on Friday, Dec. 20, after being limited the two days prior and was removed from the injury report for Week 16.
Huddle Up: The statuses of Tagovailoa's top-two options in the passing game are up in the air, as in Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill are doubtful and questionable, respectively. On top of that, he's got a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Considers the Dolphins quarterback a shaky QB2 play in Week 16.

Miami Dolphins LS Blake Ferguson (illness) did not take part in practice on Friday, Dec. 20, and was ruled out for Week 16. Also, WR Dee Eskridge (knee) and WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) did not practice and are doubtful, OT Terron Armstead, LB Bradley Chubb (knee) and WR Tyreek Hill (wrist, personal) were limited and are questionable, LB Cameron Goode (knee) and OT Kendall Lamm (back) practiced in full but are questionable and RB De'Von Achane (groin), FB Alec Ingold (ankle) and QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 19.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa has been limited during the first two practices of the week but probably will have a good chance to play in Week 16. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in four of the last five games and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa should have a good chance to play despite the injury, but fantasy players will know more about his status later in the week. He struggled last week with three interceptions but had thrown at least two touchdowns in each of the previous four games. He will be facing the San Francisco 49ers this week and could be a possible low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 29 of his 40 passes for 196 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions in a 20-12 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 15. He also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa had been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL since returning from injury, but he had a disatrous showing against the Texans. He will try to rebound against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 33-of-47 passes for 331 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the New York Jets while adding a 3-yard run one a single rushing attempt.
Huddle Up: Tua has three consecutive 300-yard performances, and he has two or more touchdown strikes in each of his past four outings. He is back as a legit QB1 fantasy option in most formats. The Dolphins travel to meet the Houston Texans in Week 15.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 37 of 46 passes for 365 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions in a Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Tagovailoa, who was sacked five times, added six yards on a pair of rushing attempts.
Huddle Up: Statistically, Tagovailoa continued his recent hot streak. The 365 yards were a season high, and he now has nine TDs with zero INTs over the last three games combined. Miami was largely ineffective for long stretches, though, and one of his TD passes came on a fortunate deflection to Tyreek Hill, so his big night was at least partially a byproduct of extended time facing soft coverage as Green Bay carried a 24-3 lead into halftime with the Dolphins never getting closer than 13. With four of Miami's final five games coming against teams with losing records, Tagovailoa has low-end QB1 potential down the stretch.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 29 of his 40 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-15 win over the New England Patriots in Week 12.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa has seven touchdown passes in the last two games, and he has 11 touchdowns and one interception in the five games since returning from injury. Ride the hot hand and plug Tagovailoa in as a QB1.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 28 of his 36 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11.
Huddle Up: The three touchdowns were a season high for Tagovailoa, and he had his most passing yards since the opener. He has been efficient all year, but he will need to keep finding the end zone to jump back into the QB1 mix.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 20-of-28 passes for 207 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams, and he ran once for minus-1 yard with one fumble lost.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa has managed to throw for 231 yards or fewer in each of his two games since returning from concussion, with three touchdown passes, one interception and one fumble lost. His numbers since returning put him in the QB2 conversation in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams right now. He'll look to better results in Week 11 at home against the Las Vegas Raiders.
