Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa said he plans to participate in the organized team activities this offseason.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa is in line for a contract extension this offseason and does not appear to be a possible holdout at this point. He will continue to be part of one of the better offenses in the NFL and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa's contract extension is a focal point for the Dolphins this offseason, and the team is hoping "to get something done before training camp" begins, according to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa said he expects to sign a long-term contract with the Dolphins at some point.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa led the NFL with 4,624 passing yards and tied for fifth with 29 touchdowns during the regular season. He should have most of his pass catchers back next season and probably will be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in a good number of fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is set to enter the final year of his rookie contract - a fifth-year team option set to pay him $23.171 million in 2024. General manager Chris Grier noted on Tuesday, Jan. 16, that the team and Tagovailoa have had conversations about a long-term contract and that the club plans for Tagovailoa to be their quarterback long-term.
Huddle Up: Grier is saying what most would expect a general manager to say about his quarterback because it would do little good for him to say otherwise. When Tagovailoa is healthy and has his weapons available, he is a very good quarterback. When he is not in optimal health and/or conditions are not in his favor, those factors seem to limit his performance more than they do elite quarterbacks. Grier will have a tough choice to make when it comes to committing to Tagovailoa long-term, especially since the Dolphins figure to be good enough for the next year or two to make drafting a blue-chip quarterback very difficult.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 17 of 27 passes for 173 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a Week 18 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Tagovailoa also ran once for seven yards.
Huddle Up: While he wound up leading the NFL in passing yards (4,624), Tagavailoa wasn't great down the stretch, throwing 11 TD passes and seven interceptions over his final nine games. With the southpaw a nonfactor as a runner, it's his arm that has to carry him to fantasy value. He'll have interesting upside against KC in the Wild Card matchup, particularly if Jaylen Waddle (ankle) returns. Peeking ahead to the 2024 season, Tagavailoa looks more like a high-end backup than a weekly option.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (quadriceps, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Tagovailoa should not have any limitations this week despite dealing with multiple injuries. He should be considered a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (quadriceps, shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 4.
Huddle Up: The Dolphins have clinched a playoff spot, but Tagovailoa should play the full game since they have a chance to win the AFC East. He likely will be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues this week.
