Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) has been declared inactive for the Week 8 game.
Huddle Up: Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be the main receivers for the Seahawks with Metcalf unavailable and both can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) did not practice for the third straight day on Friday, Oct. 25, and is doubtful for Week 8.
Huddle Up: The doubtful tag means Metcalf is highly unlikely to play. In his absence, both Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba become borderline WR2 plays.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: The Seahawks likely will not provide his practice status for Friday for another hour or so, but it would be a surprise if he participated. It remains to be seen whether Seattle takes the safe route and sits him this week and next so he can use the team's Week 9 bye to continue his recovery. As the current NFC West leaders, it would not be surprising if the Seahawks opt for the latter. Jake Bobo will fill in for Metcalf if he cannot play this weekend and is worth using as a desperation flex in deeper leagues. Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett should see a few more targets if Metcalf is sidelined and should be able to return WR3 value.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 24.
Huddle Up: Metcalf probably will be a game-time decision this week, so fantasy players will need to monitor his status over the next several days. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues if he is active for the game.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) has been diagnosed with Grade 1 sprained medial collateral ligament and is considered week-to-week, according to a source.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) "banged up his knee a little bit" in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons, but head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters afterward "it doesn't look too bad."
Huddle Up: Anything at this point would be pure speculation before the MRI results come back, but it did not appear as if Metcalf could have suffered anything more than a minor sprain on the play that ended his day. Jake Bobo was held without a catch in Week 7 but would likely step in for Metcalf if he needs to miss a game or two. Noah Fant stepped up the most in Week 7, although Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba should expect to see the most targets more often than not if Metcalf is sidelined.

Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (knee) caught four passes for 99 yards and one touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7 before he left the game because of a knee injury. He was targeted seven times during the game.
