Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens ended up with four receptions for a team-high 74 yards on five targets in Week 8 against the New York Giants.
Huddle Up: Pickens has managed three or more receptions in each of his past six games, and he is good for 53 or more receiving yards in three straight outings, and five of his past six contests. He has managed just one touchdown, so treat him more as a low-end WR2 or flex fantasy play in leagues of 12 or more teams. The Steelers are off in Week 9, so you'll need to make alternate plans.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens caught five of his nine targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in a 37-15 win over the New York Jets in Week 7.
Huddle Up: Russell Wilson was making his first start for the Steelers, and he and Pickens were able to connect on a couple of big plays. Having Wilson under center should bode well for Pickens' value moving forward.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens caught three of his eight targets for a team-high 53 yards in a 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Pickens continues to lead the Steelers in just about every receiving category, but being the No. 1 option for a lackluster passing attack has its limitations. Despite his talent, Pickens is capped as a flex option.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens was fined $10,231 by the National Football League for displaying a personal message on his eye black during Week 5's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens had three catches for 26 yards against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Oct. 6. He was targeted a team-high seven times in the loss.
Huddle Up: Pittsburgh's offense didn't get a lot going on Sunday night, and the result was Pickens' lowest yardage output of the season. Through five weeks, Pickens has had two good outings, one mediocre one, and two poor ones. It's enough of a sample size to conclude that this is likely to be his role in 2024 as the Steelers don't have the kind of offense where you can rely on their players week in, and week out. Pickens is a risk/reward option from your WR3 or flex slot.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens has caught 20 of 29 targets (69% catch rate) for 284 yards and 12 first downs through four games with Justin Fields as his quarterback. Last season, Pickens hauled in 64 of 107 targets (59.8) for 1154 yards and five touchdowns from Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolph and Mitchell Trubisky.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers were likely hoping for a faster start from Pickens given how he ended last year, but a conservative offense and a couple of difficult primary matchups against A.J. Terrell (Atlanta Falcons) and Pat Surtain (Denver Broncos) have kept his production down a bit. With four of his Pittsburgh's next five games coming against the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants and Washington Commanders, Pickens could be poised for huge fantasy production over the next month or so.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens ended up with seven receptions for 113 yards and 11 targets in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, and he ended up with a lost fumble.
Huddle Up: Pickens entered with 171 receiving yards in the first three games, so this easily his best stat line of the season. He can be trusted as a WR3 or flex fantasy option in all leagues heading into Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens caught five passes for 57 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Pickens continues to be the main target in the passing game for the Steelers and has shown a good connection with Justin Fields. He should continue to be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens registered two receptions for just 29 yards on four targets in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos.
Huddle Up: Pickens has yet to find the end zone, while totaling just 104 scrimmage yards in the first two games. Pickens was drafted as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3, but he is producing more like a WR4 during the early going. Next up is a date with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.
