Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce ended up with an 11-yard reception on his only offensive touch with four targets in Week 8 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: Pierce showed some big downfield ability at times this season, but his performance is as erratic as his quarterback Anthony Richardson. You can't trust Pierce outside of deeper fantasy leagues at this point.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce ended up with two receptions for 15 yards on five targets in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: Pierce has been limited 15 or fewer yards in three of the past four games, while had had three grabs for 134 yards and a touchdown in Week 5. There are more poor games than good lately, and Pierce just cannot be trusted on a regular basis by fantasy managers. The Colts travel to meet the Houston Texans in Week 8.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) is officially active for the Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: Pierce is coming off a disappointing Week 6 performance but has posted at least 100 yards in two games this season. He should see a handful of targets this week and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 7's game against the Miami Dolphins, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Pierce had been listed as questionable on the injury report as a result of missing practice Thursday, Oct. 17, although he fully participated in the Colts' other two practice sessions during the week. He should be viewed as a boom-or-bust flex option for fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 18, after not taking part the day before and is questionable for Week 7.
Huddle Up: Pierce was added to the injury report on Thursday, but a full session to close out the week suggests he should be fine. Pierce has had one big game with each of the Colts' quarterbacks this season, but it'll be Anthony Richardson getting the nod in Week 7. Pierce is a boom-or-bust flex play whose situation will slightly improve if either Michael Pittman Jr. (back, questionable) or Josh Downs (toe, questionable) don't suit up.

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and CB Chris Lammons (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, and were ruled out for Week 7. Also, OT Braden Smith (knee), WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) and DE Dayo Odeyingbo (hamstring) did not practice and are questionable, WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) and LB E.J. Speed (knee) practiced in full but are questionable, WR Josh Downs (toe) was limited and is questionable, DT Grover Stewart (rest) did not practice but carries no designation and C Ryan Kelly (calf), QB Anthony Richardson (oblique) and RB Trey Sermon (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) did not take part in practice on Thursday, Oct. 17, after being a full participant the day before.
Huddle Up: Being added to the injury report on Thursday is usually a bad sign for a player's status, but Pierce has one more day to get right. Pierce is a boom-or-bust flex play if he suits up.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce was targeted four times in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans, but he was held without a catch.
Huddle Up: The 24-year-old receiver has been a boom or bust receiver all season. He had 134 yards and a score last week, but in Week 4 he was limited to a single 9-yard catch. He has potential, as is evidenced by his two-100 yards games, three pass plays of 44 or more yards, and his three scores. But, he is just too erratic to trust outside of deeper leagues. One week he blows up, and the next he is invisible. Use him as a WR4 in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins, and then hold your breath and hope good Alec shows up.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce caught three passes for 134 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. He was targeted three times during the game.
Huddle Up: Pierce was a deep threat for the Colts this week and was able to find a connection with Joe Flacco during the game. He has two 100-yard games this season but only has 109 yards combined in the other the games. He has fantasy value because of his big-play ability but is a risky option because he does not receive a good amount of targets each game.
