Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba posted a game-high 12 receptions for 117 yards on 16 targets in Week 2 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Both JSN and DK Metcalf went over 100 receiving yards in the overtime win on the road, jelling nicely with QB Geno Smith. Smith-Njigba was drafted as a WR3 in most fantasy leagues, as he has not disappointed. Continue to treat him as a WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba finished with two catches for 19 yards in a 26-20 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 1.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba led all qualified receivers with a 10.8% drop rate last season, according to Pro Football Reference.
Huddle Up: The number is alarming, but some context is required here. Some of the issues could have stemmed from how long his preseason wrist injury bothered him and the time it took for him to build some chemistry with Geno Smith after that as a result. Smith-Njigba's hands were not a problem at Ohio State, as he managed a much more tolerable 5.9% drop rate during his 2021 breakout with the Buckeyes. After a disappointing rookie campaign, Smith-Njigba should be considered a decent WR3 option with upside in a new offense this summer.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba is "definitely going to be a massive piece" of the offense this season, according to head coach Mike Macdonald.
Huddle Up: Smith-Njigba had an uneven rookie season, but he did finish with 63 receptions. While Seattle still had a crowded receiving room, Smith-Njigba's role should only grow moving forward. Consider him a fringe WR3, but he could quickly jump into WR2 territory if DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett miss time.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba has pleased the team with improved practice habits.
Huddle Up: Smith-Njigba finished as the WR48 with a 63-628-4 rookie campaign. With the amount of talent at the position, it's tough to see him as more than a WR4 or low-end WR3, but he's one that could blossom as the season progresses.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Smith-Njigba will see some targets in the passing game and probably will see a bigger role if DK Metcalf is unable to play. He can be considered a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: Smith-Njigba appears to be dealing with a minor injury and should be able to handle his normal workload this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues if active.
