Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and has been ruled out for Week 8.
Huddle Up: The Buccaneers will be without Evans and Chris Godwin, so Jalen McMillan, Trey Palmer and Sterling Shepard likely will be the main receivers in the passing game. McMillan probably has the most fantasy value among the three and can be a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) and S Tykee Smith (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 versus the Atlanta Falcons. DL Greg Gaines (calf) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 25, and has also been ruled out. RB Bucky Irving (toe) was upgraded to a limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. TE Payne Durham (calf) and WR Rakim Jarrett (knee) practiced in full on Friday but are also listed as questionable. DL William Gholston (knee) practiced in full on Friday and has been removed from the injury report.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) did not take part in practice for the second straight day on Thursday, Oct. 24.
Huddle Up: Evans is expected to be out through the Bucs' Week 11 bye, so his lack of practice participation isn't surprising. With Evans and Chris Godwin (ankle) on the shelf, the Bucs will be looking for Jalen McMillan, Trey Palmer and Sterling Shepard to step up, but none of them are suggested lineup options until we see how things shake out.

Updating previous reports, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) had an MRI confirm the initial diagnosis, and he will be out four weeks. He's expected to return after the Week 11 bye.
Huddle Up: In the interim, Sterling Shepard should line up at the X receiver and be the short-yardage, PPR target. He should be picked up. Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer will be deeper threats, and while they have more upside than Shepard, they are also unproven and more volatile flex candidates.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Payne Durham (calf), WR Mike Evans (hamstring) and S Tykee Smith (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23. DE William Gholston (knee) was limited during practice, while WR Rakim Jarrett (knee) fully participated in practice. The Buccaneers did not hold a practice Wednesday, so the practice report is an estimation.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) will be out this week and is scheduled for an MRI on Wednesday, Oct. 23, head coach Todd Bowles said.
Huddle Up: Reports suggest that Evans is likely to be out through the team's Week 11 bye. With Chris Godwin (ankle) also sidelined, Trey Palmer, Sterling Shepard and Jalen McMillan will all have to step up. None of the three are suggested lineup options until we see how things shake out.

Updating previous reports, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) is having an MRI Wednesday, Oct. 23, on his hamstring injury. Head coach Todd Bowles said he expects Evans to be out until at least after the Week 11 bye.
Huddle Up: Sherling Shepard is expected to be the PPR receiver to target while Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer will have chances down the field. Shepard is a worthy waiver claim and flex candidate.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) is not expected to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list, but the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud suggests that the receiver will likely miss at least the next three games.
Huddle Up: Evans' absence - combined with the season-ending ankle injury to Chris Godwin - is a bummer for the Buccaneers, who enter a difficult stretch in which they face the Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Fantasy managers obviously need to hold onto Evans, but his absence is a huge blow to Baker Mayfield's fantasy stock and lowers the upside of the entire offense in general. Rookie Jalen McMillan should be expected to occupy the Evans' role in this offense and could possess low-end WR3 upside in his absence. Trey Palmer should get plenty of run as a perimeter receiver as well.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) was ruled out of the Week 7 game on Monday, Oct. 21, due to a hamstring injury.
Huddle Up: Evans wasn't 100% entering the game, something that was clear even before he aggravated his hamstring in the second quarter. It wouldn't be surprising if the veteran wide receiver misses time, but it's too early to know for sure. Chris Godwin and rookie Jalen McMillan should see more work in Evans' absence.
