Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston may be on the bubble this summer, according to The Athletic's Daniel Popper. Johnston was drafted by the prior regime and has been uneven through two pro seasons. The drafting of WRs Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith, coupled with Ladd McConkey's ascension and the return of WR Mike Williams, puts Johnston in a situation in which he may be fighting for a roster spot, barring an injury to one of his positional mates.
Huddle Up: The second-year growth from Johnston is encouraging, but he ultimately has physical limitations, particularly his suspect hands. LA's pecking order will be worth watching over the summer, and even if he were to get cut, Johnston has too much talent to go unemployed for long. He's nominally a WR4 consideration until more is known.

Mississippi WR Tre Harris was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 55th overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Harris could earn a role in the passing game immediately since Ladd McConkey is the only reliable Chargers receiver on the roster. Fantasy players should keep an eye on his situation during training camp because he could be a late round pick in deeper fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Omarion Hampton offers "considerably more juice" than veteran RB Najee Harris and has the potential to be the full-time No. 1 back as a rookie, in the opinion of The Athletic's Daniel Popper, who adds that Hampton can "change the identity" of LA's offense.
Huddle Up: I know Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball. You know Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball. Everyone knows Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball. Considering what the Bolts were able to wring out of perpetually injured JK Dobbins last year, the prospect of Hampton operating in that offense is tantalizing. Yes, Harris is there, but he's on a one-year deal and is more of a power back with limited explosiveness. We'll see how things shake out during training camp and preseason, but for now Hampton offers considerably more upside and might be worth targeting as an RB3 with top-20 potential.

North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 22nd overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Hampton likely will share playing time with Najee Harris this season but both likely will see a good amount of touches. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to have a better idea of his role in 2025. He can be at least a flex option in leagues if he sees solid playing time.

Free-agent TE Tyler Conklin (Jets) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers Friday, March 21. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Conklin has posted solid numbers over the last few seasons and should have a good role in the Chargers passing game. He could a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues in 2025.

Free-agent WR Mike Williams (Steelers) is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal worth up to $6 million, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Williams will reunite with Justin Herbert, and he could provide a downfield weapon for the Chargers' offense. Injuries have been an issue for Williams, but he will be worth grabbing later in drafts.

Updating a previous report, impending free-agent RB Najee Harris (Steelers) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $5.25 million - and worth a maximum of $9.25 million - with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, March 10.
Huddle Up: While Harris should be considered the favorite to lead the team in carries in 2025, the size of this contract suggests the Chargers won't hesitate to take a running back in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. He should be the team's primary goal-line back, which should mean more now that he is in a better offense. It is too early to say for sure if he can be considered a viable low-end RB2 option in fantasy, however.

Impending free-agent RB Najee Harris (Steelers) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers Monday, March 10, worth as much as $9.25 million, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Harris likely will be the main running back for the Chargers next season and should see a majority of the carries in the running game. He has been productive since entering the league and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris is expected to command at least $8 million per season on his next contract, which is a number the team is not willing to match, according to PennLive's Nick Farabaugh.
Huddle Up: Farabaugh notes that the Las Vegas Raiders are the team that has been mentioned the most as an interested party. The Raiders make a lot of sense and could use a durable back like Harris in new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly's offense. It is a good bet that wherever Harris lands in free agency, he will get enough work to remain a RB2 for fantasy purposes.

Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent RB Najee Harris' representatives talked with the Steelers at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine about his future with the team, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Gerry Dulac.
Huddle Up: Harris has rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons in the NFL and likely will continue to be the starting running back if he returns to the Steelers. He can be at least a No. 3 running back if fantasy leagues if he starts for a team in 2025.

Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent RB Najee Harris did not have his fifth-year team option picked up by the team last offseason, but Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette believes there is "a strong possibility" that he could be signed to a new contract before the start of free agency on March 12.
Huddle Up: As Dulac points out, there have been 51 1,000-yard rushers since Harris was drafted in 2021. Harris is the only one of the group who has reached the milestone mark in all four years, which speaks to his productivity, durability and dependability. With the upcoming draft class expected to be very good at the running back position, Harris might be wise to sign a deal with the team as close to the start of free agency as possible. If he stays put, he figures to remain a low-end RB2 option in fantasy.

Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert had to scramble 31 times during the 2024 season and averaged 10 yards per scramble.
Huddle Up: Herbert rushed for a career-high 306 yards this season, but his 3,870 passing yards was one of his lowest totals since entering the NFL. He likely will be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues in 2025.

New York Jets impending free-agent TE Tyler Conklin may not return to the Jets next season since he could receive a bigger offer from another team during free agency, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Rich Cimini.
Huddle Up: Conklin was a solid part of the passing game during the last month of the season and probably will receive interest from a few teams during free agency. Fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if he has a chance to be a No. 1 fantasy tight end.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (thigh, illness) is active for the wild-card game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Huddle Up: Johnston went nuclear in the final game of the regular season, but he remains a boom-or-bust DFS option against the Texans.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (illness, thigh) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 9, and is listed as questionable for the Wild Card playoff game.
Huddle Up: Johnston returned to practice Thursday, so he had a decent chance to play against the Houston Texans. He will see a good amount of targets if he plays and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey became one of seven rookie receivers since 2015 to finish with at least 80 receptions and 1,100 yards.
Huddle Up: McConkey closed the year by topping 80 receiving yards in six of the last seven games, establishing himself as the steadiest option in the Chargers' passing attack. He should be viewed as a WR1 heading into postseason contests.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (illness, thigh) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should monitor the situation over the next few days if see if Johnston will be available for the Wild Card playoff game. He is coming off an outstanding Week 18 performance has been targeted at least six times in each of the last five games. He can be at least a flex option in leagues if he plays.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (thigh) was limited in practice on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Huddle Up: Johnston appears on the practice report a couple of days after ripping up the secondary of the Las Vegas Raiders for 186 yards on 13 catches. He did not appear to be limited in any way during that contest, so it seems likely the Chargers are just managing his reps ahead of their road game versus the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Will Dissly ended up with five receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: Dissly spent time this season as a borderline low-end TE1 or top TE2 in most fantasy leagues in the regular season. However, in postseason leagues he is certainly a decent enough low-end TE1 in most leagues. The Chargers travel to meet the Houston Texans Saturday in the wild-card round.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey ended up with five receptions for 95 yards on eight targets in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: McConkey had at least five receptions in each of his final seven games, and at least 83 yards in six of those seven outings. He finished with 77 receptions, 1,054 yards and seven scores, and he is a legit WR1 in all fantasy postseason leagues. The Chargers travel to meet the Houston Texans Saturday in the wild-card round.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston ended up with 13 receptions for 186 yards in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders, while he was targeted 14 times.
Huddle Up: Q-Money had a giant game, and he will look to carry that momentum into the AFC wild-card game against the Houston Texans on the road Saturday. Normally he is more of a WR4 or flex fantasy option, but in postseason fantasy leagues he could be a low-end WR2 or flex option while serving as a decent mid-tier DFS play.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Hassan Haskins rushed 12 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders, while he was not targeted in the pass game.
Huddle Up: Haskins was seeing a bigger role in the regular-season finale, but he will likely see a reduced part in the offseason in the wild-card round if Gus Edwards is back with J.K. Dobbins in the Los Angeles backfield Saturday in Houston.

Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert completed 28-of-36 passes for 346 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders, while running four times for 42 yards.
Huddle Up: Herbert did a good job single-handedly lifting the Bolts to their 11th win of the season, and the fifth seed. The Chargers will travel to meet the Houston Texans in the wild-card round on Saturday afternoon. He is a tremendous QB1 in all fantasy postseason leagues and as a DFS option.

Dallas Cowboys QB Trey Lance completed 20-of-34 passes for 244 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders, while he ran six times for 26 yards.
Huddle Up: Lance accounted for zero touchdowns, and it doesn't look like he did enough to unseat Cooper Rush as the backup quarterback going forward. Lance has some amazing physical tools, but it doesn't look like his game is good enough to make him an NFL starter in 2025 or beyond.

New York Jets TE Tyler Conklin (calf) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Conklin has been a decent option in the passing game for the Jets over the last few weeks and could see a handful of targets again this week. He could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Dallas Cowboys QB Trey Lance will be the starting quarterback for the Cowboys in Week 18, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Lance has not received much playing time since joining the NFL, so the Cowboys want to take a look at him in a regular season game. He probably should be avoided in fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Mike Williams caught his only target for 25 yards in a 19-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Williams continues to be an afterthought in the Pittsburgh offense. He has nine total catches in nine games since joining the Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris (head) was evaluated for a concussion during the Week 18 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he returned and finished with 12 carries for 36 yards and four catches for 20 yards in a 19-17 loss.
Huddle Up: Harris snuck over 1,000 yards for the year, but his production has been more volume based than anything. He is a safe bet for touches entering the postseason, but with the Steelers struggling, Harris may not be around more than one round.
