New England Patriots WR Stefon Diggs could receive some work as the slot receiver this upcoming season, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Mike Reiss.
Huddle Up: Diggs should be on the field for most of the offensive snaps no matter where he lines up. He is a productive receiver when healthy and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Texans) officially signed his three-year contract worth a reported $69 million on Friday, March 28.
Huddle Up: There is still some uncertainty that needs to be ironed out - namely Diggs continuing a setback-free recovery from ACL surgery and New England not using a high pick at receiver in the draft - but Diggs should have little problem emerging as the team's alpha receiver early in the season. While the 31-year-old is no longer at the height of his powers, he should still be a viable fantasy starter if he returns to the form he showed last year in Houston before his injury. Consider him a low-end WR3 with occasional WR2 upside in 2025 drafts.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Texans) agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the New England Patriots Tuesday, March 25, worth $69 million, according to sources. The deal includes $26 million in guaranteed money.
Huddle Up: Diggs is recovering from a serious knee injury but seems to have a good chance to be ready for the start of the 2025 season. He will be the main option in the passing game for the Patriots and probably will be at least a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Texans) is believed to be ahead of schedule in his recovery and has started running at full speed, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Diggs is one of the top receivers available in free agency and seems to have a good chance to be ready for the 2025 season. He likely will be a starter no matter where he signs and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Texans) had a positive meeting with the New England Patriots but left without a contract. The two sides will continue to talk.
Huddle Up: Diggs is recovering from a serious knee injury, so there is no urgency for the two sides to reach an agreement at this point. Diggs is a productive receiver when healthy and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver next season if he signs with the Patriots.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Texans) is expected to meet with New England Patriots this week, according to a source.
Huddle Up: The Patriots have not been able to add a top receiver this offseason, but Diggs likely will be a good option in the passing game if he decides to sign. He is recovering from a knee injury but could be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver for the Patriots.

Impending free-agent WR Mack Hollins (Bills) agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the New England Patriots Monday, March 10, worth as much as $10.4 million, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Hollins has a chance to have a decent role in the passing game depending on what the team does at the position over the next few months. He could be a late round option in some deeper leagues if he is a top three receiver for the Patriots.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk may have been overloaded with information and responsibility as a rookie, according to executive vice-president Eliot Wolf. "He was a young player that came in and he's mature, he's smart. I think organizationally, we maybe put too much on his plate early," Wolf said. "I think that really kind of stunted his growth a little bit. He's aware of that, and we've talked about it."
Huddle Up: Polk did very little in his rookie campaign, but with a good camp, he absolutely could be in the WR5 flyer area in fantasy drafts.

Houston Texans impending free-agent WR Stefon Diggs is a player the Texans are open to re-signing this offseason, according to general manager Nick Caserio.
Huddle Up: Diggs is recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament but should receive interest from several teams if he hits the free-agent market. He showed a good connection with C.J. Stroud before the injury and should be a primary target in the passing game if he returns to the Texans. He should be a starting option most weeks in fantasy leagues next season.

Houston Texans impending free-agent WR Stefon Diggs is a player that QB C.J. Stroud hopes to return next season because they were building chemistry before Diggs suffered his injury.
Huddle Up: Diggs was a big part of the passing game for the Texans before the injury and was targeted at least seven times in each of his last six games. He should be a reliable target no matter where he plays next season and will be a weekly starting option in most leagues.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye's 408 rushing yards from Week 6 to Week 18 ranked fourth among quarterbacks.
Huddle Up: It wasn't a banner rookie season by any means, but Maye showed flashes of his potential despite a weak supporting cast. Throw in his rushing upside, and Maye could be an underrated QB2 next season.

New England Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne ended up with two receptions for 12 yards on two targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills. He had two or more receptions in each of his final eight games.
Huddle Up: Bourne ended up with 28 receptions for 305 yards and a touchdown in 12 games in 2024. Heading into 2025, he is likely to have a role in the New England offense, or with another team, but he has very little fantasy appeal at this point.

New England Patriots TE Austin Hooper finished with four receptions for 27 yards on six targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Hooper was getting a start with Hunter Henry sidelined. Heading into 2025, Hooper might have a role in New England, or elsewhere, but he is mostly a depth option outside of deeper PPR leagues.

New England Patriots WR DeMario Douglas posted three receptions for 34 yards on four targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: In his second NFL season, Douglas ended up with new career highs of 66 receptions for 621 yards and three touchdowns on 87 targets. With QB Drake Maye and solid receivers like Douglas and Kayshon Boutte, the future isn't so bleak in Foxboro. Douglas could be a solid WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into 2025.

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (head) posted seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on his seven targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills before exiting the game with a head injury.
Huddle Up: Boutte, a sixth-round pick in 2023, posted 16 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns on 19 targets in the final three games. He saw an increased role down the stretch, and he could be a fantasy sleeper heading into 2025. Sixth-round picks have had a nice history in Foxboro in the past.

New England Patriots RB Antonio Gibson rushed 12 times for a team-best 41 yards in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills, while adding four receptions for 20 yards on his six targets.
Huddle Up: Gibson was starting to slowly carve out a large role for himself in the New England offense late in the season. However, heading into 2025, he is likely to be a backup, and therefore he'll only be worth fantasy attention in the later rounds on draft day for depth.

Buffalo Bills WR Mack Hollins ended up with three receptions for 25 yards on four targets in Week 18 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Hollins saw a decent role in the regular-season finale, but keep in mind that Amari Cooper was also inactive, and most of the starters saw a limited role. Hollins has some fantasy appeal in postseason fantasy leagues and in DFS, but only as a depth option.

New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (foot) has been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Austin Hooper should see a handful of targets with Henry unavailable but probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (hand) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Maye is coming off a disappointing Week 17 game and has thrown one touchdown or less in four of his last five games. He could be a possible option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in most leagues.

New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 3, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Henry seems to have a good chance to play in the regular season finale, but fantasy players should keep an eye out for his official status. He should see a handful of targets if he plays and could be a possible low-end No. 1 tight end deeper leagues.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (hand) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 3, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said that Maye is expected to play, but fantasy players should check the inactive list for his official status. He has thrown 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season and could be a possible option in two-quarterback leagues if he plays.

New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Henry was held off the stat sheet in the last game and has at least 50 yards in only one of his last five games. He will see a handful of targets if he is active this week and could still be a possible low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (hand) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Maye has a chance to play in the regular season finale, so fantasy players should check on his status later in the week. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in only two of his last nine games and can be avoided in most leagues even if he plays.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (undisclosed) will play in Week 18 if healthy enough to do so, head coach Jerod Mayo said on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Maye is coming off his worst fantasy showing of the 2024 season in Week 17 but has shown enough overall to be mid-range QB2 option entering Week 18.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (undisclosed) is not in the concussion protocol but could be held out of the Week 18 finale, head coach Jerod Mayo said Monday, Dec. 30. Mayo said "everything is in consideration" in terms of who will be the starting quarterback.
Huddle Up: Maye was evaluated for a concussion during the Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but he returned shortly after. Managers will want to keep an eye on the injury report this week, but the Patriots may simply hold him out as a precaution while hoping they retain the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye could sit out of the Week 18 season finale, according to head coach Jerod Mayo.
Huddle Up: They would spin it as protecting Maye's health, but the Patriots sit in the No. 1 overall draft pick spot and would secure it with a loss. It would be a valuable commodity for any team wanting to come up to draft Shedeur Sanders in a weak QB draft class. Either Maye or Jacoby Brissett would be facing Buffalo Bills backups in the season finale and could be worth a low-end QB1 start.

New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry did not record a catch on two targets in the Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: It was an ugly afternoon all around for the Patriots, who were smothered by the Chargers' defense. Despite the depressing showing, Henry remains on the TE2 radar going into Week 18.

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte tallied four catches for 28 yards in the Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: After a career-best game last week, Boutte returned to being an afterthought on Saturday. He can't be trusted in lineups in Week 18.
