Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon rushed 25 times for 102 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts, while adding four receptions for 32 yards on six targets.
Huddle Up: Mixon has three straight 100-yard rushing games since returning from injury, and he has scored at least once (four rushing one receiving) in the three-game span. He is back as a RB1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 9 against the New York Jets on Thursday night.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. He also caught two passes for nine yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Mixon has been outstanding since returning from injury and will continue to see plenty of touches in the offense. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues as long as he is healthy.

Houston Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), CB Kamari Lassiter (shoulder), LB Henry To'oto'o (concussion), S Jimmie Ward (groin) and WR Robert Woods (foot) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, and have been ruled out for Week 7. Also, WR Steven Sims (back) did not practice but is questionable, DT Folorunso Fatukasi (shoulder) was limited and is questionable, and RB Joe Mixon (ankle), LB Del'Shawn Phillips (hip) and OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Huddle Up: Mixon likely will be available for the Week 7 game, but fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if anything changes. He is coming off a terrific Week 6 game and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Mixon returned to the lineup this week after missing multiple games because of injury. He was productive in both the running and passing games against the Patriots and should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) was limited at practice for the second straight day on Friday, Oct. 11, and was is questionable for Week 6.
Huddle Up: The lack of a full practice might mean Mixon needs one more week, but his status ahead of game time bears monitoring just in case he does suit up. If Mixon plays, he's an RB1 play. If he sits, Houston's backfield situation should be avoided if possible, as the Texans might deploy a three-man committee with Cam Akers, Dare Ogunbowale and Dameon Pierce.
