Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson indicated after the AFC wild-card loss to the Baltimore Ravens that he is hopeful of returning in 2025. "It's been on the best years for me, personally, to be a Pittsburgh Steeler," Wilson said Sunday, Jan. 12. "Obviously, I hope I'm here."
Huddle Up: Wilson showed that he still has a little left in the tank, and the team will have to figure out what the future is at the position with Justin Fields also on an expiring contract. Wilson was mostly a QB2 for fantasy purposes in 2024, and that is likely where he'll be situated in 2025, too, wherever he ends up.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 20 of his 29 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC wild-card game Saturday, Jan. 11. RB Najee Harris rushed six times for 17 yards and caught three passes for 41 yards, and RB Jaylen Warren had two carries for six yards and four grabs for 19 yards. Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 17 of his 31 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in a 19-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18. He also rushed for 16 yards.
Huddle Up: Wilson has been putting up some pedestrain numbers down the stretch, and the Steelers will enter the playoffs on a four-game losing streak. He will be hard to trust in playoff contests.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: The Steelers still do not have a set seed in the playoffs, so Wilson probably will play most of the Week 18 game. He has struggled over the last few weeks and is only a possible option in some two-quarterback leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Wilson likely will start the Week 18 game, but the team may consider benching him if they do not have a chance to win the division. He has struggled recently and can be avoided in standard leagues but could be a possible option in some two-quarterback leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson (rest) was limited in practice on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers still vying for a championship in Week 18 can probably expect the Steelers to play their starters for as long as they need to, as it is likely they would prefer to hold onto the No. 5 seed and play the Houston Texans as opposed to drop to No. 6 and likely meet the Baltimore Ravens for a third time (assuming the Ravens can dispatch of a three-win Cleveland Browns team). Wilson threw for 414 yards and three touchdowns against this week's opponent - the Cincinnati Bengals - a few weeks ago and could find himself in the low-end QB1 conversation this week given all of the lineup gymnastics teams usually engage in for Week 18.

Pittsburgh Steelers OG Isaac Seumalo (rest) did not practice on Tuesday, Dec. 31. QB Russell Wilson (rest), WR Ben Skowronek (hip), WR Jaylen Warren (ribs), LB Cole Holcomb (knee) and DT Logan Lee (calf) were limited. QB Justin Fields (abdominal), CB Joey Porter Jr. (knee) and WR Roman Wilson (hamstring) practiced in full.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson went 23 of 37 for 205 yards, no touchdown passes, and an interception vs. the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17 on Wednesday, Dec. 25. He rushed six times for 55 yards and a touchdown but was sacked five times.
Huddle Up: It was a long day at the office for Wilson as his offensive line did him no favors. The Steelers are locked into the playoffs and host Cincinnati next week, so it's TBD whether we see Wilson on the field. He's a fringe QB1 in the event he plays.
