Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (glute, groin, shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 8.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation because Montgomery is dealing with multiple injuries and may not be a guarantee for Week 14. He is coming off one of his better games of the season last week and can be a No. 2 fantasy running back if he plays.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery rushed 21 times for 90 yards and a touchdown and caught eight of his nine targets for 51 yards in a 33-22 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13.
Huddle Up: The Bears continue to give Montgomery all the touches he can handle, and his heavy workload makes him a solid bet for RB2 numbers week in and week out.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery has handled 83 percent of the running backs touches since Chicago's Week 10 bye.
Huddle Up: Montgomery has missed time with injuries this season, but when he has been on the field, he has been a workhorse. He won't deliver a lot of big plays in Chicago's pedestrian offense, but Montgomery offers a solid floor as a volume-based RB2.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery ran 17 times for 48 yards and caught all three targets for 28 at the Detroit Lions in Week 12 on Thursday, Nov. 25.
Huddle Up: In the five games prior to going on bye in Week 12, Arizona allowed neutral stats to the backfield on the ground. Through the air is where running backs have made some noise, averaging the ninth-most yards per game on the third-most receptions granted since Week 6. The position averaged 89.4 rushing yards and 51.8 aerial gains in that time.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery ran 14 times for 58 yards in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens and he added a nine-yard reception on his lone target.
Huddle Up: Montgomery has had a couple of marginal performances since returning from a month-long injury. He has been more a RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams in the past two games. He'll look for better production in Week 12 against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Montgomery had 106 yards and two scores in the first meeting with the Lions on Oct. 3.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery rushed 13 times for 63 yards with two grabs for 17 yards on his two targets in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: Montgomery was playing for the first time since Week 4 against the Detroit Lions, as he was recovering from a knee injury. His presence pushed rookie Khalil Herbert back to a reserve role. The Bears are off in Week 10 before returning to face the Baltimore Ravens at home.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (knee) is officially active for the Week 9 game.
Huddle Up: Montgomery is returning to the lineup after missing the last few games. It is not known if he will see limited snaps since he is returning from injury but should have a role in the offense this week. He can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in leagues.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (knee) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 8.
Huddle Up: Montgomery has been sidelined since Week 4. Rookie Khalil Herbert has done an outstanding job in his absence, casting some doubt as to whether or not Montgomery will return to a workhorse role. It is fair to assume Herbert will see more work Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers as Montgomery gets his bearings back, which would likely make both players RB3 options in a difficult matchup.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (knee) will be activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 8, to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: If you still have a flex spot in PPR leagues, he could be worth inserting in there. Otherwise, he could be fresh to go as an RB2 after the bye week.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (knee) has 'a really good chance' of being activated Saturday, Nov. 6, and playing Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bears head coach Matt Nagy said Saturday.
Huddle Up: Montgomery and Kahlil Herbert's fantasy owners need to be on alert for this as their Week 9 outlooks could swing dramatically if Montgomery is indeed activated. The Bears do have a bye week in Week 10 so the thought was Montgomery would be out through then, but it sounds like his health situation has progressed faster than expected.
