San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle led all tight ends with 14.2 yards per reception this season.
Huddle Up: Kittle also finished third at the position in receiving yards and tied for second in touchdowns. He doesn't pile up receptions like some of the other top tight ends, but his explosiveness allows for excellent production on lower usage. He remains a high-end TE1.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is expected to be part of the team next season, according to general manager John Lynch.
Huddle Up: Samuel saw his numbers dip this season and finished with 670 receiving yards and only three touchdowns. He should be a solid option in the passing game for the 49ers next season and can be a starting fantasy option most weeks.

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (knee) said he is nearly fully recovered from his knee injury and believes he would have been available for the playoffs if the 49ers clinched a spot. He said he will be able to participate in organized team activities.
Huddle Up: McCaffrey was limited to only four games this season because of multiple injuries but seems to be on track to take part in the offseason workouts. He is a must-start option in fantasy leagues when healthy but is a risky option because of his injury history.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings caught seven of his 10 targets for 52 yards in Week 18 versus the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: He could have done more if he had not been ejected for fighting on consecutive plays in the second quarter. Jennings ends the season with 77 receptions in 15 games (or one less than he had in 45 games over his first three seasons combined). He turned all of those catches into 975 yards and six scores. Jennings' 2025 prospects hinge mostly on whether Brandon Aiyuk (knee) fully recovers from his ACL surgery and the 49ers choose to bring back Deebo Samuel (which appears unlikely at this point). Assuming Samuel is no longer on the roster in 2025, Jennings possesses fantasy WR3 upside.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall finished with six catches on eight targets for a team-high 69 yards and a touchdown in a 47-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Pearsall finished his rookie season with a pair of strong outings, but it remains to be seen if he can approach those numbers over a full season. For now, he should be an intriguing option at the end of drafts.

San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (ankle, knee) was carted off in the first half of the Week 18 game against the Arizona Cardinals due to an ankle and knee injury and he was quickly ruled out. He had two rushes for five yards before departing. RB Patrick Taylor is expected to handle the lion's share of the carries down the stretch.
Huddle Up: Guerendo ends the season with 87 carries for 420 yards and four touchdowns, while also hauling in 15 receptions for 152 yards and no scores. Guerendo proved he can be a solid NFL tailback, at least in spurts. Heading into 2025, assuming this isn't a serious injury, Guerendo could have some late-round fantasy value in leagues of 12 or more teams.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Kittle should be a popular target for Joshua Dobbs this week and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (elbow) is still expected to sign a long-term contract extension during the offseason despite his season-ending elbow injury, which is considered minor, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: The 25-year-old Purdy will finish the season with 3,864 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions over 15 games, along with five rushing touchdowns and 323 rushing yards. When healthy, he is best served as a high-end QB2 option in fantasy leagues. QB Joshua Dobbs will be under center for the 49ers' regular-season finale versus the Arizona Cardinals but can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (chest, illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Pearsall is coming off his 100-yard game of the season last week and should be one of the main options in the passing game this week. He can be considered at least a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Guerendo should receive most of the work at running back against the Arizona Cardinals and can be at least a flex option in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 3, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Kittle appears to have a good chance to play in the finale, but fantasy players should check the inactive list for his official status. He should be a big part of the passing game if he plays and will be a starting option in all leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall likely will be the main receivers in the passing game for the 49ers with Samuel sidelined. Both players should see a decent amount of targets and can be at least flex options in most leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (elbow) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Joshua Dobbs will be under center for the regular season finale with Purdy sidelined but can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Guerendo likely will receive another start in Week 18 and should be involved in both the running and passing game. He has been productive over his last four games and can be at least a flex option in all leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (chest, illness) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Pearsall probably will be available for the game and could be a main option in the passing game if Deebo Samuel is not able to play. He is coming off a 100-yard performance last week and can be at least a flex option in all leagues if active.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Kittle seems to have a good chance to play in Week 18, but fantasy players will know more about his status in the next day or two. He will see a good amount of targets if he plays and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, wrist) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Samuel will be available for the final game of the season. He is a big part of the offense when healthy and can be a starting option in fantasy leagues if he plays.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (chest, illness) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Pearsall is coming off a breakout performance, but gambling on a repeat performance in Week 18 will be dangerous, especially with Brock Purdy sidelined.

San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Guerendo was able to play through the injuries in Week 17, so unless he suffers a setback, he would have a good chance to be available for the finale.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, wrist) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Samuel has continued to play since injurying his wrist in Week 16, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him suit up for the finale. That being said, he has been a boom-or-bust option all year, and he won't have Brock Purdy under center in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (elbow) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Purdy has already been ruled out for the season finale with an elbow injury, so it was no surprise that he didn't practice Wednesday.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Keep an on Kittle's status over the next couple of days. He is a TE1 if he suits up, but with the 49ers eliminated from playoff contention, it wouldn't be a surprise if he is held out for the finale if he isn't close to full strength.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (elbow) will not play in Week 18, head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Wednesday, Jan. 1. QB Josh Dobbs will start in Purdy's place.
Huddle Up: Purdy injured his elbow late in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions, which forced his early exit. Dobbs is not a suggested lineup option in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (elbow) was diagnosed with a right elbow bruise and some nerve inflammation on Tuesday, Dec. 31. While he will likely not play in Week 18 against the Arizona Cardinals, he did not suffer any long-term damage.
Huddle Up: Fans of Purdy and the 49ers had reason to suspect the worst when Purdy told reporters after the game that it felt like his "arm was on fire." However, this sounds like it will be a non-issue relatively soon and should not affect his contract extension talks this winter and/or spring. Joshua Dobbs will likely get the nod over Brandon Allen to start in the season finale and should be considered a viable QB2 option in two-quarterback leagues.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle caught all eight of his targets for 112 yards in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: The only thing missing from Kittle's stat line was a score. At 31 years old, Kittle is still in top form and is having one of the best seasons of his career. He remains an elite TE1 in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings finished with seven catches for 67 yards on 10 targets in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Jennings didn't really get going until late in the game. He was targeted in the end zone in garbage time but was unable to reel it in. Jennings is having a career year in 2024, but he hasn't done much over the last five games. He remains on the flex radar in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel carried the ball three times for 16 yards and recorded one reception for five yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Samuel found pay dirt for the second straight week, but he didn't do much else with the rest of his touches. In what has been an incredibly disappointing season for him, Samuel is nothing more than a boom-or-bust flex option in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall had eight catches for 141 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Pearsall was a machine on Monday night. The rookie was tied for the team lead in receptions and targets, and he had the most receiving yards in what was the best game of his young career. The 49ers have a lot to sort out next season, but Pearsall looks like a keeper. The rookie will be a boom-or-bust flex option in Week 18, assuming the 49ers play their best players.
